The Faith ICT team are continually working to improve the security of our College systems for all staff, students, and families.

When you set or change your password, it is now checked to make sure it hasn’t been used in a hack or data leak somewhere else on the internet.

We’ve also made passwords easier to remember. Instead of needing capital letters, numbers, or symbols, your password just needs to be a bit longer. This means you can use what's called a passphrase - a few words joined together.

Example passphrases (DO NOT use these):

  • green-frogs-jump
  • friday-pizza-night
  • morningsunshine
  • header jungles mobile

Make up your own words that are easy for you to remember.

Passphrase Requirements

  • At least 15 characters long
  • Not a password you have used before
  • Must not include your name
  • Must not be a password you use anywhere else

Change your Passphrase

  1. Open your Faith Account. You might need to sign in.
  2. Enter your temporary/current password or passphrase in the old password box.
  3. Enter your new passphrase twice.
  4. Press submit.

If you need help, come and see the ICT team in E201 😊
